Study Permit

Study Permit

A study permit is an official document issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) that allows foreign nationals to study at designated learning institutions (DLIs) in Canada. Most international students require a study permit to study in Canada.

Studying in Canada has several benefits, such as high-quality education, a multicultural society, extensive research opportunities, work opportunities during and after studies, a safe environment, pathways to permanent residency, a high quality of life, language education in English and French, and globally recognized degrees.

After completing your program, you may be eligible to apply for a PGWP, which allows you to work in Canada. The duration of your PGWP depends on the level and length of your study program.
